What Volusia Home Services is
Volusia Home Services is a call routing and service connection platform. We connect homeowners in Volusia County, Florida with local independent contractors for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, water heater, and tree service needs.
We are not a contractor. We do not perform any home services directly. We do not employ the contractors in our network. Contractors are independent businesses, and any service agreement is between you and the contractor.
Service area and availability
This service covers residential properties in Volusia County, Florida. Coverage within the county may vary by service type and city. Use the locations page to confirm coverage before submitting a request.
We do not guarantee contractor availability. Contractors in our network operate independently, and response times, scheduling, and pricing are determined by each contractor. We make a reasonable effort to route your request to an available contractor but cannot guarantee a successful connection on every attempt.
What we do not guarantee
- Same-day or emergency response times
- Pricing or estimates from contractors
- Quality of work performed by a matched contractor
- Contractor licensing or insurance status
Call recording consent
Calls made through Volusia Home Services may be recorded. You will hear a disclosure message before your call is connected to a contractor. The contractor will also be notified before the call is recorded. Recording does not begin until both parties have been informed.
By continuing a call after the disclosure message, you consent to the recording of that call. Recordings are used for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and service improvement. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
SMS consent
You may receive SMS messages from Volusia Home Services related to your service request, including intake questions, appointment coordination, contractor status updates, missed-call follow-up, customer support responses, and feedback requests. Message frequency may vary. Msg & data rates may apply.
We obtain SMS consent through three methods:
- Verbal consent. During a phone call, you are informed that you may receive text messages related to your request and asked to confirm consent verbally.
- Web form consent. On the service request form, you may check an opt-in checkbox. The checkbox is not pre-selected. Consent is not required as a condition of service.
- Text-initiated contact. If you initiate contact by texting our published business number, we will respond with messages related to your inquiry. All messages include or honor STOP opt-out instructions.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out permanently. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out will not affect your ability to use the call routing service. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention and opt-out handling.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this service to submit false or fraudulent service requests, abuse or harass contractors, attempt to circumvent spam filters, or use automated systems to generate calls or form submissions.
Calls identified as spam, solicitations, or abuse are logged, blocked, and reported. Repeated abuse may result in your number being permanently blocked from the routing system.
Disputes with contractors
Disputes about the quality or outcome of work performed by a contractor are between you and that contractor. If you believe a call was misrouted or a service request was handled improperly, contact us through the contact page and we will review the call record.
Limitation of liability
Volusia Home Services provides a routing and connection service only. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of any work performed by a contractor. We are not liable for contractor no-shows, delays, pricing disputes, or property damage resulting from contractor work.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to this service is limited to the amount you paid, if any, for the specific service request giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Volusia County, Florida.
